Continuous Foaming

A.S. Continuous Foaming Machines are the best foaming machines available today in the market. These machines have got a high production rate and are quite versatile in producing different grades of foam. These machines are quite economical and are designed in line with the best production machines in the world.

Following are the two models that are available with us:

FM 130: These machines have electrical and pneumatic controls that are placed side by side for the ease of operation. All the motors have start and stop push buttons along with indication lights. POLYOL, TDI & MECL are transferred in to these machines with the help of geared pumps. It also contain a conveyor made of strong steel frames with 100mm reinforced mild steel on roller chains, driven by 3hp variable speed drive. There is also a paper feeding support, fall plate, flow meters and a ventilation chamber.

FM 225: These machines contain a walk-in control panel. These machines consist of metering pumps with the help of which all the chemicals are metered and these pumps are from Viking, USA. Rest all the features are similar to the model no FM 130.

Filling

Metering Pumps

All the chemicals are metered with the help of suitable capacity geared pumps. Maximum output of Polyol pump is 130 K.G. per minute and all other pumps shall have capacities Suited to the above Polyol output for making foam from 10 to 40 density .

Flow Meters

TDI, MeCI & Air are calibrated with the help of rotameters while other are calibrated with help of RPM meters.

Mixing Head

It is a high-speed pin type stirrer with 25 hp. A.C. motor provided with three changeable pulleys for three different speeds. All the streams are fitted on to the mixing head via 3 way valves having pneumatic controls. Provision for adding 2 streams of Polyol and 3 streams for additional catalyst.

Fall Plate

It is made in 4 sections adjustable in height in relation to each other, manually by means of a wheel handle.Total length of the plate is 5 meters.

Trough

One trough is provided.

Conveyor

The conveyor is made of strong steel frames with 100mm reinforced mild steel on roller chains, driven by 3hp variable speed drive.

Ventilation Tunnel

It is made from steel pipe covered with 12mm water proof ply-board. The height from the conveyor is 1.8 meters (approx.) It is made in 6 sections with 3 inspection windows (on each side). The width of the tunnel is fixed, between 1350 mm to 2000 mm. This is to be specified at the time of placing the order. It is provided with two powerful suction fans to remove the fumes.

Roller Conveyor

A three meter roller conveyor is provided after the slate conveyor.

Paper Feeding

Bottom paper feeding support is underneath the conveyor and the side papers are fed from vertical supports located on both sides of the tunnel. All the papers are automatically rewound at the end of tunnel, with the help of re-winders driven by D.C. drives.

CONTROL PANEL

Electrical and pneumatic controls are placed side by side for ease of operation. All the motors have start and stop push buttons with indication lights.

OPTIONAL EXTRA

Extra Stream of Polyol for producing foam with filler. Extra streams of color for greater variety of convenience. System for online change of density in the permissible range.
